The job offers plenty of opportunities for the right individual to grow in the role and create a successful career for themselves. Including the possibility of an electrical apprenticeship.
About the role
Duties and responsibilities include
- Participate in the installation of solar PV systems with a team. Your role primarily involves fixing solar panels to the roof, mounting and positioning framework and cable runs.
- Liaise with a range of clients during project delivery.
- Assist with the maintenance of existing solar systems (under direction).
- Actively look for ways to assist colleagues.
- Communicate with team members on a regular basis.
About you
Do you have the following skills?
Essential
- Motivated for new learning
- Comfortable when working at heights
- Hands on experience when working with tools eg. impact driver
- Team player
- NZ Full driving license
- Certificate to work in NZ, Permanent Resident or citizen
Desirable
- 2 + years practical experience of roofing or general building
- Strong communication skills
- Working at Heights training
- Proven ability to work in a team
- Problem-solving skills
